About College of Engineering
Nihon University’s College of Engineering consists of six departments and schools: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chemical Biology and Applied Chemistry, and Computer Science. Located in the nature-rich city of Koriyama, Fukushima, the College delivers outstanding teaching, learning and research in Engineering by employing the concept of LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).
Within this vast campus (about 380,000㎡), the College features classrooms constructed with great consideration for the environment, and research centers where about 5,000 engineering students of LOHAS study. In addition to its contributions to our society, the College supports international excellence in teaching and advanced research which utilizes product research and professional training which prepares students for success in engineering.
